The Deep Forest
by Mark Diaz Truman, Avery Alder

For a long time, our monstrous home was occupied by invading humans. Now, finally, we’ve driven them off, and we’re left with this: a year of relative peace. One quiet year, with which to dismantle their settlements and reclaim our lands. Come Winter, a band of heroes will arrive and we might not survive the encounter. This is when the game will end. But we don’t know about that yet.

There and Back Again
by Ray Otus

You are an adventurer in the world of The Hobbit. Specifically the world as it appeared in the 1937 edition of that book. Anyone can be a wizard with the right knowledge, trolls turn to stone in the sunlight, animals or magical objects can speak, elves aren't always nice, and the wild is full of terrible creatures like goblins, giant spiders, and even dragons!

I offer that the central themes of The Hobbit are:
1. Treasure hunting
2. Journeys
3. Singing

House of Reeds
by Sam Kabo Ashwell

This is a role-playing game about a home. In this home lives a family, or a succession of families. You’ll draw the home and watch as it changes with the family over the years.
You will need a good-sized sheet of paper to draw on, pencils, and something on which to record characters (index cards are good). A big pile of 10-sided dice is helpful but not necessary. You'll also need to print and cut out the game cards, or transcribe them onto something.

The Red Table
by Secret Hearth

A parlor game wherein you take on the role of a council of dwarves desperately carving out their home within an ancient mountain. Its play can be a vital tool for localized worldbuilding, but is best done in a casual manner among close friends. A calm, slow game of strategy, conversation, and shoddy cartography; a story of dwarves, glory, and ruin.

Police Cops
by Ryan Ó Laoithe

A rules-light 2-page TV series simulator, Police Cops works best with 4-5 players, and one Commissioner. The Commish is the GM. The game is designed to play like a cop show, each session or two being an Episode with its own enclosed story, but still part of broader series.

Lonely Timbers
by Jason Pitre

A game about historical lumberjacks in the 19th century. It’s a game about men who leave their homes for months at a time to support their families with the only job they could get. They would cut timber in the chill of fall, the frozen winters, and treacherous spring. It’s a game about the people who did this dangerous work, the price they paid, and the bonds built in those remote cabins.

The Mind of Margaret
by Drew Besse

In the Mind of Margaret you’ll explore the life of a single person through the various emotions that make up their personality. Think the 90s sitcom "Herman’s Head" or the Disney/Pixar film "Inside Out". During the game you’ll establish various dilemmas for this person, explore their internal psyche as it tries to decide how to respond in order to achieve their goals, and observe how the results of that response further affects the person and their psyche.
