The tone doesn't have to be heavy, but it can become very dark, depending on the values you choose to start with and the individualism you put in it. You can lighten the tone by reading "when you stay" instead of "when you reach" in the resolution mechanic.

It is totally inspired by Mesopotamians, by Nick Wedig.
